I am brand new to the Manorfield family this year but I have most recently been teaching Year 5 in a Leicester city centre school.

Here’s a few things you might not know about me…

I love playing dodgeball to keep active and I’m a British Champion with hopes to represent England next year.

Maths is my favourite subject to teach but once I find a good book I struggle put it back down.

I also love teaching history and find the children are often telling me all kinds of cool history facts they know.

I’ve been teaching at Manorfield for over 8 years, working with both KS1 and KS2 children.
I love being a primary school teacher because it allows me to teach such a wide range of lessons. I’ve covered many topics over the years, but my favourite is "Violent Earth" – I love exploring volcanoes with my class! While it’s hard to pick a favourite lesson, I’d probably say maths and science are at the top of my list.
Outside of school, I have a mischievous dog named Winston who always keeps me on my toes, and I’m often busy with a DIY project!
