Department for Education Coronavirus helpline

Today, the Department for Education have launched a new helpline to answer questions about COVID-19 related to education. Staff and parents can contact the helpline as follows:

Email: DfE.coronavirushelpline@education.gov.uk
Opening hours: 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)

No school should close in response to a suspected (or confirmed) COVID-19 case unless directed to do so by Public Health England.

Personal hygiene is the most important way we can tackle COVID-19. Please help us in sharing simple and effective hand hygiene messages.

Please find attached a copy of the  poster which contains guidance for you as parents.  It has been sent from Public Health England.  All schools have been sent this today is as it gives relevant information and the most up to date advice about the Coronavirus

Manorfield C E Primary School  is following all guidance and advice given to us and will be using the resources mentioned on the poster with our children to highlight the need for them to support by upholding good hygiene routines, (washing hands, using tissues to catch sneezes and coughs etc) at all times.
